In Greece, 87,500 acres of oranges are cultivated. The areas of most interest is the Argolid, the Laconia, the Aitoloakarnania, Arta, the Elis and Corinth.

The main varieties grown in Greece are Navalines, New Hall, Merlin, Valencia, Saloustiana, Moro, Taroko and Blood Orange.

From late October until mid January Navalines start to be collected and then New Hall from mid November to mid January.

Afterwards, Navel are collected from mid December to mid March, and finally Valencia from early March until late June.

The oranges are harvested from their place of production with qualified staff and carried out at the premises of our company.

After passing through the kalimpradoro where they are washed, dried and waxed, they are separated according to their size and then are packaged according to the package the customer wants.

They can be packaged in girsack 1kg, 1,5kg or 2kg

Linear in cartons or wooden boxes of 10kg or 15kg

And bulk in cartons of 15kg or 20kg.

Orange Varieties

NAVELLINA

Medium sized fruit, round or oval, red orange, juicy aspermy flesh, with excellent flavor and medium thick peel. The period that the variety Navalines thrives is from late October to mid January. It stands out for its intense red color and its earliness.

NAVEL (MERLIN)

Large fruit, spherical, intense orange color, with juicy aspermy flesh, with excellent flavor and medium thick peel. It has great strength in transport and storage, it is the fruit that is easily peeled and it stands out for its excellent flavor as table fruit. The period that the variety Navel thrives is from mid-December to mid-March.

VALENCIA

Medium sized fruit, spherical shape, orange color, very juicy flesh, aspermy or oligospermy, with excellent flavor and thin skin. The period Valencia thrives is from early March until late June. It has great strength in transport and storage.

NEW HALL

Large-sized fruit, oval-shaped, bright orange color, with juicy aspermy flesh and medium thick peel. The period the variety New Hall thrives is from mid November to mid January

LANE LATE

This is about a late variety of orange. Large fruit, spherical shaped, bright orange color, with juicy aspermy flesh, with excellent flavor and medium thick peel. It is of excellent taste as table fruit. The period the variety Lane Late thrives is from March to mid-May.
